Studio Etiquette

  • When you arrive, please remove footwear and leave them in the vestibule area.

  • Check-in at the front desk prior to entering the practice room.

  • Please turn your ringer/alerts off on your phone and leave it in the lobby. No phones in the shala.

  • Please leave all personal belongings in the reception area, off the floor.

  • To respect a shared environment, we are a scent free space.

  • Kindly arrive early and understand that for the integrity of the class latecomers are not permitted.

  • “Silence is golden.” Please feel free to chat in the reception area quietly and respect silence in the shala.

  • Classes are subject to room capacity (currently 32 people).

  • We practice close to each other. Please wash your yoga mat and clothes regularly so that your fellow yogis have an enjoyable class.

  • Please stay for the whole class.

  • If you are not feeling well and it is absolutely necessary to leave the room, please go ahead. If you just need some rest before continuing with class, take rest on your mat; it is a key element of every yoga practice.

  • If you sign-up for a class online, your reserved spot will be held until 5 minutes before class, after which it may be released.

  • If you sign-up online and are unable to attend your class, PLEASE cancel your reservation online so someone that may be on a waiting list can have that spot. Late cancellations and no shows may be charged a $10 fee.

  • We love kids as well, but no children under the age of 12 permitted in class (unless class is specifically for children or noted as ‘Family Friendly’). Children under the age of 16 must have a parent present with them in class. If you feel your child, between 10-12 years old, is able to stay focused and engaged for an entire class please contact us to request permission. High School students are able to attend class without a parent as long as a parent has signed a waiver.
