I would like to activate my membership.
Please email us at email@example.com with the date you’d like to activate your membership on. Keep in mind that it may take a few days for us to reactivate your membership.
I would like to suspend my membership.
Please email us your request via firstname.lastname@example.org. With a detailed description of why, the start date(if suspending) and for how long. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
What is the capacity in class?
We have a capacity of 30 students per class.
Are classes heated?
No, as of right now none of our classes are heated beyond 26 degrees. The temperature of the room will be anywhere between 24.5 – 26 degrees.
Can I use the washrooms?
Yes, we have 2 private washrooms available to use.
Can I shower?
Yes, we have a shower that can be used. Please bring your own towel.
When can I reach you by phone?
We have a front desk worker 15 minutes before and after each class. We also have a front desk worker Monday through Friday for limited hours.
How do I sign up for class?
Classes are open for online registrations 24 hours a day with the ability to register 7 day in advance. Sign up through a web browser or what most people find easiest, our Ground Yoga App.
Can I walk in?
Yes we take walk-ins but there is no guarantee you will be able to get a spot. Lots of classes fill up.
How does the waitlist work?
When you’re on the waitlist that means the class is full, but you will be notified if a spot comes available up to 2 hours prior to the class start time. We recommend making sure that your text notifications are turned on in your account settings rather than email. This for most is the most reliable way to ensure you are aware. Please confirm you will be attending when you’ve been added to class.
How do I turn on text notifications?
Easiest way is to download the Ground Yoga app. Once you’ve signed in to your MINDBODY account, you adjust your preferences by clicking Menu > Settings, scroll down to Email & Notifications. Enable ‘Send me mobile notifications’ and save changes.
Is there a charge if I need to cancel my pre-registration?
There may be a Late cancel/no show fee of $10 applied if you cancel your registration less than 2 hours prior to class start time of a waitlisted class. If your late cancellation or no show is due to health reasons, or an emergency please reach out via email@example.com or by phone.
What do I need to do before I arrive at the studio?
If this is your first time coming to the studio please read over our studio etiquette page, and arrive 15 minutes early for an introduction of the studio.
What do I need to bring to class?
Ideally it’s best to arrive dressed in what you wish to wear for class as well with a mat, water bottle and a shower towel if you plan to shower.
When do I arrive to class?
It’s best to arrive at the studio 15 minutes before your scheduled start time so that you have time to settle in and we can start the class promptly. Depending on the class, doors to the studio are opened 15-30 minutes prior to class and locked at the class start time.
Do you have mats and props available for use?
Yes! If you forgot your mat or haven’t purchased one yet we have Bmats available for use! Please don’t expect to use these consistently, if you are you will either be asked to buy a mat or to pay a small rental fee. Props are always for use free of charge!
Will you have props, mats and other products for sale?
Yes, we have lots of props, yoga accessories, products made by local artists/artisans, and Ground yoga clothing for sale by debit/credit cards. We don’t accept cash.
RETAIL & PURCHASES
Do you sell mats, props, yoga apparel, and wellness-related products?
Yes, we do! We have just about everything you could need for your yoga journey. We do our best to source our products from local businesses and artisans. You may notice lots of the products we sell are made by community members!
Do you have Ground Yoga products?
Yes, we have tanks, T-shirts, sweaters, coffee cups, insulated camp mugs, water bottles, and stickers. This can change at any time depending on the season.
Can I pay using cash?
No sorry, we don’t accept cash. We can accept debit/credit cards for in-studio purchases.
IN-STUDIO QUESTIONS AND FEEDBACK
If I have arrived at the studio and have a studio-related question, who do I ask?
Students are welcome to pass along feedback to a staff member when they are in the studio. If a staff member isn’t available, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can connect with you.
If I have a yoga-related question, who do I speak to?
We encourage our students to be curious and inquisitive as one of the main aspects of yoga is svadyaya(self study). Please feel communicate often with your teachers when you have questions. Our team is here to support you along your journey!
